KEEP

Knowledge Exploration Exposure Program

(KEEP) is The Breakfast Group’s Diversity Career Program focuses on specific career skill building for young women and men, utilizing technology to create a "Career Media" approach.

This Scalable STUDENT FIRST program is designed to serve and guide 10,000+ students with Specific Career Skills and is for the support of Educators, Counselors, Parents, Mentors, other Student development programs along with Employers in the development of Student Career Skills that Employers want now.

It’s a Community Partnership Students first model. It aims to empower students to pull knowledge based on their career interests, emphasizing mastery-based learning and personalized assistance.

It draws inspiration from research by Stanford professors Andrew Ng and Daphne Koller on skill development, particularly addressing Benjamin Bloom's 2 Sigma problem - moving from lecture learning to Mastery Based Learning with follow on Personalized Assistance at the higher levels thus moving two standard deviations greater in success.

The program follows a 1-2-3 journey approach:

Select careers, gain exposure through professionals, and start building skills now. Major partners include employers across various fields, with an emphasis on providing specific career skills.

Funding is needed for program management and student led product evolution, continued skill development partnerships, and technology infrastructure/maintenance.

The program's early pilot success attracted over 1,000 students to a 3 hr. Celebration of Careers 10 Career Rooms w 68 Career Speakers.
