Organization Description
The Breakfast Group (BG), established in 1976, is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization (EIN. 91-1543286) with the primary focus of providing support for youth of color in achieving their educational objectives.
Our Vision
The BG Vision is centered on Youth and Families achieving the highest levels of Education and Economic opportunities. The organization is also champion of Diversity and the success of Young Women along with Young Men and serves both through its programs.
We Build Talent and Our Goal is to Career Certify as Many Students of Color as possible.
Through sustained mentorship and culturally relevant initiatives we empower youth towards academic success creating impactful members of society by assisting Youth in completing education and accessing higher education and/or employment after high school as they move forward with determination, responsibility, leadership, accountability and integrity toward adulthood.
