A Dialogue on
Employment and Communities of Color in Settle and King County

For this month's meeting, we will focus on the availability of jobs for African-Americans and other persons of color in Seattle and King County. We will hear from representatives of two organizations deeply concerned with this issue.  Lee Newgent is Executive Secretary of the Washington State Building and Construction Trades Council and Michelle Merriweather is Vice-President of the Urban League of Metropolitan Seattle. Jon Bersche from the City Office of Labor and Equity will also attend.
