Project M.I.S.T.E.R. ONLINE™

In 1995, The Breakfast Group conceived and implemented Seattle’s first Science, Engineering and Mathematics (SEM) program targeting minority youth in conjunction with Seattle Central Community College.  It was called Biosphere of Tomorrow.

In celebration of our 20th year since leading the exposure of minority youth in Seattle to the SEM fields, in 2015 we began to develop Project M.I.S.T.E.R. Digital™.  With our enhanced project we intend to provide tools, not just programs for our youth to prepare them to participate in the innovation and knowledge economy.

In the fall of 2019 the Breakfast Group launched Project M.I.S.T.E.R. Online™ as a bridge and companion program in celebration of our 25th year in the STEM field. Our online corollary to our Project M.I.S.T.E.R.™ legacy program allows students and youth to participate virtually and to interact with our organization and mentors. The organization is in the advanced stages of curriculum and program development/integration since its launch in 2019 when we began to incorporate pilot components of the program.
